Chris Grady joined the Aldrich Eike firm in July 2010. Chris provides counsel to building owners in Oregon and Washington whose homes, businesses and investments are damaged because of faulty construction, design and/or materials. He advocates for building owners in the recovery of repair costs and other damages. Chris also represents owners in the repair of their buildings, including negotiations with repair contractors and contract drafting.
Most building owners with distressed properties want their problems solved without a trial. Chris focuses on achieving successful settlement through careful preparation of a case from the beginning of a lawsuit. For those clients who are unable to resolve claims through settlement, Chris is committed to taking their cases to successful jury verdicts as a trial attorney.
Chris also represents construction contractors in payment disputes and contract drafting. Prior to joining the firm, Chris spent four years as a litigator representing contractors and insurance companies. Chris handled a wide-range of cases, including construction defect, first-party insurance disputes, error & omission, personal injury and business litigation.
During law school, Chris served as an Articles Editor for the Lewis and Clark Law Review. He graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School with honors in 2005. Super Lawyers recognized Chris as a Rising Star from 2010-2014.
